Large-scale Russian Assaults Eliminate Electricity In Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have come under escalating attacks in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused power cuts in large parts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were wounded while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered problems to drinking water, according to city officials.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, based on information from local officials.

Moscow has escalated strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not window dressing but strong steps - from the US, Europe and the major economies - in supplying protection systems and applying sanctions," was stated in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty rockets struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were laboring to fix the damage.

A series of attacks hit energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the assaults on the city have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region endured heavy assaults overnight. A minor lost their life and multiple civilians were wounded.

The strikes follow nights of bombing campaigns in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

The entire country is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to spot.

Government officials told journalists that Russia was deliberately attempting to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already affecting gas facilities.

Officials stated energy workers and government agencies were anticipating further attacks.
